Our speaker, Dr. Marzieh Shojaei, is a Research Scientist in the Ferguson Lab at Duke University. Her research centers on the characterization of fluorochemicals in lithium-ion batteries, textiles, AFFF formulations, and AFFF-impacted groundwater. We're very excited for her talk, "Deep characterization of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances in current and legacy aqueous film-forming foams."

BP4NTA's training course, ”Understanding quality and confidence in non-targeted analysis: study design and data interpretation tools,” has been accepted for inclusion in SETAC North America's 2026 program!
The course will be held Monday, November 2nd, from 1:30-4:30 pm.
